The Building Industry Data Suite Launched at 2017 NAHB International Builders’ Show
North Kingstown, RI – January 23, 2017 – Virtual DBS today announced the launch of a suite of databases created for firms that market to contractors and homeowners planning construction projects.
The Building Industry Data suite consists of the Contractor File, Property File, Permit File, Pre-mover and New-mover Files in addition to nationwide business and consumer databases—each of which can be combined and segmented by hundreds of demographic variables.
The files in the Building Industry Data suite can be used for traditional marketing programs using phone, mail and email as well as digital ads delivered to a highly segmented audience on all devices. They can also be appended to existing CRM databases to gain intelligence on prospects and customers using proprietary modeling tools developed specifically for the construction industry.
The newest addition to the suite is the Permit File, a breakthrough product that aggregates building permit data from across the country. Manufacturers, distributors and lenders can market directly to contractors or property owners who have pulled permits for new construction, repairs or remodels.
The suite also includes the Property File, containing over 140 million real estate property records—both commercial and residential, that can be segmented by fields such as HVAC, pool, roof type, fireplace, size and more—overlaid with household demographics such as age, income and others.
The company has also identified pre-builders who can be reached with powerful digital campaigns. For any business trying to find homeowners and builders who are planning construction projects, targeted display ads can be served to people who have downloaded building codes and variances while researching pending construction projects.
In addition, the Contractor File includes builders by type and size of business, matched to their occupational license. Appended with consumer demographics such as age and income, this file is the most in-depth database available of contractors and builders nationwide.
The launch of the Building Industry Data product line took place at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando. The CEO of Virtual DBS, Brad Mitchell, said, “We are focused on providing the building industry with the most comprehensive databases on the market. We’re developing ground-breaking files by combining online and offline data to help building product manufacturers, architects and lenders find and keep their customers.”
